Kyle Bean

Featured on this blog before; here's a new one from Kyle Bean... the evolution of the paper plane.
I'm lucky enough to be working with Kyle on my first commercial venture at the moment.
Stay tuned for more information.
Needless to say, it's going to be EPIC.

House (Hausu)

After much hype in the press recently I sat down and watched the 70s cult Japanese Horror classic House (Hausu) last night. Although I didn't fall head-over-heals in love with it, it did have some brilliant sections and is well worth checking out. It didn't really do anything for me narratively, but some of the more abstract scenes are really special.
Basic plot = old lady sucks life from young girls by luring them into her house via her cat. Old lady controls her house and is able to use it to kill girls in various ways. Think killer pianos, lamp shades, futons, fridges, you name it.
Here's a taster...

Maccabees and Roots Manuva

I don't know who directed this, but I'm in love with it.
Keep watching all the way through, and especially when the song peaks.
This is the most emotive music video I've seen in ages.
Great song too.

Wave Pool Madness

I don't get panicked by claustrophobic situations that much, but this wave machine at a water park in Tokyo takes it to a new level...
