Alternative Advent

Anyone who's been following me on Twitter should know all about this, but throughout advent I am releasing 25 new video clips, one per day, created using footage from my archive of live visuals as well as never-before-seen clips. Each is accompanied by a new or rare track created by bands and musicians that I have invited to collaborate on the project. I started to create content for the live arena as a way of giving life to graphical ideas that may never have otherwise seen the light of day. This project’s musical participants have treated their submissions in a similar way, making the calendar an opportunity to air musical phrases and experiments that never made it into fully-formed songs; an outlet for unrealised ideas.
We've got some really exciting artists contributing, and it's been a bit of a mammoth undertaking, but I'm really excited about it.

Tonight I did a live VJ set with Sam Potter at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
It was a VERY surreal evening in many way.
What an incredible honour to have had my work within the walls of that building...

SSV Live at Shoreditch Church

Next Thursday I will be delving into the world of lighting design in a collaboration with the amazing Nathan Matthews. We will be accompanying the wonderful Bo Ningen, Serafina and Esben and the Witch, as they play some very special gigs at Shoreditch Church.
