Jimi Hendrix's Dick

Here's Cynthia 'Plaster Caster' talking about when she took a plaster cast of Jimi Hendrix's penis.
Just incase you're into this kind of thing. Possibly one of the weirdest biographical interviews you're possible to get...

Day 2

of the 3 week mystery shoot.
It's me and the director of photography on this shoot, Toby Howell!
Hooray!

The Miniature Knit Shop

Following my addiction to the new CBBC show "Big Babies" I came across The Miniature Knit Shop. Created by a lady called Ruth, she creates hand-knitted bespoke items.
Not just for babies, but all things knitted... but 'cummon... it's the baby stuff that rocks!

3 Week Shoot! DAY 1

Hello.
For the next 3 weeks I am going to be shooting an intensive stopframe animation shoot in West London. With every shot taking a minimum of 5 minutes to shoot, with us working at 25 frames per second, and 30 seconds of animation needed to be created (excluding plates). THIS is gonna be hardcore.
Due to confidentiality agreements I can't show you what I'm working on, but I thought I'd record my feelings day by day via my laptop in the production office.

DAY 1

A bit tired due to early start and clock-change. Hair's a bit of a mess due for same reason.
Other than that, quite calm

Bernard Cribbins

On Friday I got to hang out for 30mins with Bernard Cribbins, as we needed to record his voice over for a project I'm working on at the moment.
He even posed for a photo, and spoke in different voices for us... including Pooh and Piglet (from Winnie the Pooh), and Toad and Mole (from Wind in the Willows).
What a guy. This man has the power to transport you right back to your childhood via the sound of his voice. Incredible.

WARPAINT

Ridiculously good music and jaw-droppingly beautiful. That lead guitarist is just phenomenally stunning. Suspenders and t-shirt... it's enough to make me think twice about ladies.
Jesus Christ!

HAVE MUSLIMS RIPPED OFF CLIFF RICHARD?

COULD THE METRIC SYSTEM GIVE CLIFF RICHARD DIABETES?

COULD THE E.U. TURN HARD-WORKING FAMILIES GAY?

IS RIP-OFF BRITAIN MAKING BRITAIN'S SWANS OBESE?

HAVE LESBIANS IMPREGNATED HOMEOWNERS?

WILL THE NANNY STATE HAVE SEX WITH THE CHURCH?

.... all of these are important questions, and all of them have been created via Chris Applegate and his ingenious DAILY MAIL-O-MATIC!

We Are The Friction

I'm reading "We Are Friction" at the moment, which I bought from the "All My Friends Are..." pop-up shop last Thursday.
A collection of short stories and accompanying illustrations. Edited by Sing Statistics (AKA Jez Burrows and Lizzy Stewart).
I'm really enjoying it, and I thought readers of this may do as well.
GO BUY! THERE'S ONLY 1000 IN EXISTENCE!

Let's Get It ON

New NYC Condom Package by Luis Acosta.
The winner of New York's Department of Health and Mental Hygiene competition to create a special edition wrapper for prophylactics.
Iconic, funny, instructional, oh and it's meant to symbolise New Yorker's power to take control and practice safe sex.

Gaga Poster

I got a surprise present yesterday! My friend and work colleague Bart Yates went to SXSW this weekend, and saw this awesome Gaga print from her LA shows last year.
He bought it for me!
It's awesome
THANKS BART!

LOOK HOW AWESOME IT IS! SHE HAS A FRIGGIN ZIPPER AS AN EYELASH!

Seagull

Caught mid-motion (complete with what seems to be a whole chocolate bar in its mouth) in Brighton. Ah... Brighton the bohemian jewel of the South Coast. I miss you.

Thanks to Tomas Mankovsky for this gem.

We're taking over Superette, a new exhibition and events space just off Brick Lane in the heart of East London for 2 weeks. Run by Leona Baker, we're excited to be the very first people invited to host a show in the new Superette!

Show My Ass

New promo for Dominique Young Unique.
Fresh from Tampa, Florida. This promo was shot in December last year. I was second camera on the shoot that was spread over a day and a half during Dominique's first visit to the UK.
It was great to flex my live action muscles for a weekend, but only be involved in the shooting process.
Simone Ghilardotti took up the director's reigns on this documentary-style promo.
Great fun to be involved, and look out for more from Dominique in the near future... she's a hot girl!

Hot Chip - I Feel Better

Directed by Peter Serafinowicz
Produced by Tamsin Glasson
Colonel Blimp

There's been a buzz about this for the past 2 weeks around the office. Peter, being a comedian, doesn't have representation as a director, so he was taken under the mothering Colonel Blimp wing to produce this extraordinary boyband/sci-fi satire.
It was a real honour to have him around the studio, and WHAT a result!

BIG BABIES

My friends Martin Collins and Spencer Jones co-star in this new show for the CBBC channel.
I think it's awesome.
It's on every weekday for the 3 weeks. CLICK HERE link to the first show from last night...

Now, I'm gonna go for a play with my rocket.

SORRY!

Oh Jesus! It's been a MONTH since I've updated this blog.
I'm so sorry about that.
Here's a little tit-bit. I'll try and update more from now on, I promise!
