Properly off-the-wall comedy from Spike Milligan. I watched this last night with my Grandad, and it was great that we were both able to appreciate the (at times) challenging humour. It's worth it just for Assheton Gordon's art direction - it's absolutely stunning. Completely bizzarre even by today's standards, to think that it was made in 1969 with a million pound budget (whoah!), this really is a lost gem, and a classic waiting to be rediscovered.

BIG thanks to Noah Harris for winging this my way.
